BKC-1227 is a cationic surfactant and a non-oxidizing biocide with broad-spectrum, high-efficiency bactericidal and algicidal properties. It effectively controls microbial and algal growth in water systems, removes biofilms, and exhibits dispersing, penetrating, deodorizing, and mild corrosion-inhibiting effects.
Low in toxicity and non-cumulative, BKC-1227 is highly water-soluble and unaffected by water hardness. It is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water systems (e.g., petroleum, chemical, power, textile) to prevent microbial contamination, particularly against sulfate-reducing bacteria.
In the textile industry, BKC-1227 serves as a fungicide, mildew preventive, softener, antistatic agent, emulsifier, and conditioning agent.
Complies with HG/T 2230—2006
Biocide/Algicide: 50–100 mg/L
Biofilm Remover: 200–300 mg/L (add defoamer if needed).
Compatibility: Synergistic with isothiazolinones, glutaraldehyde, or methylene dithiocyanate, but incompatible with chlorophenols or anionic surfactants (e.g., polyacrylic acid). Post-treatment fouling should be filtered promptly.
BKC-1227 has a faint almond odor and mild skin irritation. Rinse with water if contacted.
